To me the last looks like the Order of the italian crown (until 1943 given to also to German officers).

The ribbon has bad fire damage, but I still like it very much!

The center stripe of the last ribbon looks yellow. Would that still make it Italian?

Or it is a Spanish Red Military Merit Order (nearly same ribbon as the Italian Crown) or Navy Merit Order. Thats why my question about the color.

Oops, Eric was a bit faster.
So it should be the Spanish Navy Merit Order.
Maybe Rick Lundström can find out more. He has the best sources for Navy guys.

Ok,
after looking at the photo gallery, I believe that last ribbon to be red and white - Officer grade Order of the Crown of Italy

OK, this scan is fuzzy and I'm not sure of the REAL colors-- third ribbon a (typical) faded out pale blue with red Hessian Bravery Medal-- or dirty white and red Hamburg Hanseatic Cross?

And what colors are the long service eagles? Be careful to check the edges and crevices--sometimes finish has come off. And-- what color cloth backing--if there is one--is on there?

Clues! Need clues!

OK, I have ONE "suspect," but I lose him in the Reichsheer after 1928. I only have the Stellenbesetzung 1939 not the actual Rank List, have asked my guru if the guy WAS listed still on active duty in 1939. He never made General, and was not in the May 1944 Seniority List. Must wait and see.

I had to think about the (unofficial) silver wreath at the Württemberg ribbon. That means the silver bravery medal. So this guy was probably NCO in WW1 and made officer later.
