13 Marz 1938 medal question

I have a question about the Marz 13th medal, I whant to know if theres any variation of that medal? Normally the medal had a "silver" color but I have found one in a garage sale who had a "bronze" finish exactly like the finish/color of the October 1st medal.

I have also notice a L/ 11 mark (maker mark I guess) on the rim of the medal. I have never seen one of those with a maker on the rim and for 20$ canadian I just can't resist so I had buy it.

Dimension, weight, proportion and design looks all good to me, everything seem fine execpt that damm color.

So is this medal a variation I had just never seen before or its a poor "fake" medal without the right "color" of metal ?

I'm very sorry for the lack of picture but I don't have a digital camera...I always whant to buy one but everytime I'm about to go to the store I drop on a nice piece on the e-stand or in antique shop and spend all the money over there.

Does the L/11 look like this? This is from the 6 o'clock position on a October 1 medal. I have no explanation for the difference in metal color.

Yes Greg, thats just like!!! Also at the 6 o'clock position on mine.

Thats really weird because its all look normal except for the color.
