Some one did a lousy job of putting this one together.

uglier still. It doesn't even look like they bothered to resew the backing. Note the '57 WMC.

Certainly a botch job but IMO not necessarily bad. Looks like the bar was originally a 3 piece and later stretched by the owner to include the wmc. I would say the wmc is probably not a 57 but has been twisted round for the photo to avoid the ebay police. Not uncommon to find bars with backwards mounted wmcs, George Stimson posted one the other day i think.

        Hi Patrick,
Hope all is well with you. What about the order? The Selesian Eagle supposed to be placed before the HB Cross, right?

I'm very well thanks Steve, hope you are too. I'm not sure about the official regs concerning mounting order but I would be of the opinion that the Hindenburg would be before the Silesian Eagle, any other opionions?

Per Doehle, the "Hindenburg Cross" has precedence over the Silesian Eagle.

I agree with Patrick here ... the 57 WMCs did not have 1939 on both sides only on one. The other side (obverse) was simply blank where the Swastika was in the '39 versions.
