German adler verdienst medal with swords in silver

Not my field, but after discussing with some friends I like it.

Medal itself looks good, but the ribbon an the suspension ring are of an austian annexation medal.

As Antonio says it's a codged together piece using bits from a 13th March 1938 medal.

Here's a real Deutsche Verdienstmedaille ribbon ..

That i dont think would be the case cause austrian medal has a thiner ribbon. If your observstion is solly upon the width of the black stripes, there are different types for that which is shown here. The band on adler medal is too wide for 13. March medal, but i will check it better.

I'm no expert at all, but i searched a little bit and found more with the small black lines on the ribbon. Has it maybe something to do with year of manufacturing? (Gothic writing and normal writing) Or with or without swords? (don't know, just guessing!) Screenshot_20200814_132909_com.android.chrome.jpg
