    Prague castle bar

Hi. Are there different types of the Prague castle bar, or mine is simply wrong?
I seen other prongs, but never these.

              Prague Castle Bar

              Adolph,
I too, have never seen a spange mounted in such a manner (through the whole mounted bar) or, with the pins issuing from the center of the spange.
Do a search for "Prager Burg". There was a thread a couple of months ago that you may find of interest.

its hard to tell if it was added later - because:
if the tailer would be a real good one, he would have put the prongs under the backing material (for unifom safety and that the prongs don't break)
but on the other hand, its difficult to drill a hole in the metall sheed the medals are mounted on after the ribbons are there.
so i don't have a real conclusion - but while only looking at the prongs, i wouldn't worry at all!

Thanks for your comments, I was thinking that probably it was done by the owner. Since the award of the medal and the award of the bar are around 8 months, so time enough to save a visit to the tailor. What I donĀ“t know is how the pins are comming from the middle of the bar. How long are them. Have any of you seen this type of bar?
Any other opinion would be appreciated.

                  Thanks.
