Ok, some soft detailing on the text there (on the DIENST in particular but also the FE of FEUER-) and raised areas where they shouldn't be (inside the V of VER-) also there is an amount of material left on the inside where the 'wreath' meets the cross.

Here are mine for comparison ...

Sorry, it's only an opinion based on my examples. The 2nd Class awards are quite common and nice ones are out there.

Looking at this again, I can see why Ian is concerned about this one. I think he is correct. The lettering and raised lip are very suspect. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
