Hi Jens, I cannot say I have ever seen one before, but this does look brand new? Could it be a Veterans association peice?

      Cheers, Ade.

        Hi Ade,

Indeed, it looks brand new, but this doesnt mean its not a period piece.
I have found this exact pin in a cataloge about third rich era pins.

        Thanks Jens

              Pin

              Hi Jens,

looks good to me. Kai Winkler has one with pin, see art: 11436. Is exactly the same as yours. His price is 165 euro.....

I also have one, but for over a button of a jacket and with a silber mark. Also one of the SR 111.

              Best,

              Jeroen

Well thats a spot on match although I couldn't comment on the originality of either. Interesting to note that if you look at the number it seems to originally have been 111 but then had the 0 stamped over the last digit.

well spotted, looks like both, the Winkler one and the one originally shown here had the 1 stamped over... Cheers, Torsten.

                        Hi all,

many thanks for the comments and for posting the pics of Winklers pin.
Well, i have to add that there was recently a factory found which included many many ww2 pins and badges. The guy how found it lives only 5 km away from me and i know him very well. I bought some of the Gespenster badges along with some unworn silver wound badges 1 WW from him. I know that he also knows Winkler and maybe thats the reason he has one.
I havnt said this in my first post to get an unprejudiced opinion, since sometimes factory found storys produce a "fake" feeling.

Indeed, on a closer look at my badge i can see that there once was a "1" overstamped with "0".

I´ll post a pic of the other badges as well.

Many thanks and best wishes Jens
