I have been doing some research for a friend who owns this medal, trying to find some information for him about it. All I can figure out is that it's an infantry medal from Wurttemberg that translates to something like "In Memory of Recruitment". And that the picture on it is Kaiser Wilhelm II. I have been unable to find anything else like this online, and had hoped that someone here might be able to tell me:
1. What it is.
2. If it looks authentic.
3. If it is rare or valuable.
4. Where I might find more information about it.
To see the medal, please look at:

I appreciate any help you can give me on this. It's really piqued our curiosity!
