Westwall tombac with stickpin

Hello,
The case is obviously a well-known fake. As far as the stickpin is concerned: The eagle head and beak looks more like that of a toucan. And look how offset the round wreath and swastika is in relation to the eagle. I did think that the full-size medal stood a chance of being real. However it does appear to have a lot of flaws so I can see why it is viewed with much suspicion. I thought perhaps it is the lighting and/or camera flash that is making this medal look off as far as coloration and quality.
And as Wayne already mentioned, everything is being faked. I have seen and handled fake Westwall Medals, Hindenburg Crosses, May Day and Tag der Arbeit tinnies. Original, super common tinnies that you can still buy for five or ten dollars are being faked in China and the fakes are being sold for more than the cost of originals.
Best regards,
