    Ian,

It's the Order of Orange-Nassau (Netherlands).

    Kind regards,
    Pierce

Cheers Jason, the subject bar is for a military official, presumably he was attached to the Netherlands in some diplomatic capacity between the wars with 18 years in the Polizei. Maybe he took part in disaster relief ?

The rest of the bars were all interesting ... the KVKIIX/Ost/18 year Polizei etc kind of drew me as a possible Einsatzgruppen connection, the EKII/LW 12 & 4 year/Spain etc

They (and few more due in tomorrow) came from Alan G, a long-standing member on here.

Another update, again from Alan G ..

A really nice 9 place Imperial .. Is the first ribbon the Italian Order of the Crown or Austrian Military Maria-Theresien-Order ? and the Vanity ribbon ?

The 5 place DAK one has the Italian Al Valore Militare ribbon before the DAK ribbon with Luftwaffe blue backing.

What is the strange Yellow/Blue ribbon on the 4 place please ?

            Many thanks, Ian.

No idea what that ribbon is, Ian, but you are really adding some nice bars to your collection. Have you bought another display coffee table yet?

Many great bars, Ian. Nice that you got some from Alan because he doesn’t really sell much (historically, at least).

My favorite in your collection is the Heer bar with the (likely) Italian & Romanian decorations at the end. Superb bar!

And of course it’s always nice to see old bars of mine currently in good hands.

Cheers Jason, he's a good man and a gentleman to deal with … he was selling the first lot on Ebay so I picked a few up … there were some longer Imperial bars but I was happy with what I got. I was talking to him and he said he was selling some more but obviously there is the issue with the dreaded swastika so we agreed a price the second batch afterwards.

                    Cheers, Ian.

Aren’t you in the same country? I didn’t think there was an issue with shipping therein. Or do you just mean listing on eBay?

Ebay mate, not conducive to selling original IIIrd Reich bars or pretty much anything else. There IS however a chancer selling a load of entry level fakes based in Fleetwood, Lancashire.
