A winter war medal and packet for comments.. there is a stamp on the ring.
The E Weidmann packet looks pink,is this acceptable?,or a post war fake? thoughts please..

Hi Bob,

Well, I definitely like the Wiedmann packet. The medal seems okay too. I am not so sure about the ribbon, though. It doesn't appear to have the scalloped/looped edges I like to see on original ribbons.

Everything is wrong with this set, and known fakes/repros.

-The medaille is cast, and not even that good, there are better ones to be found.
-The suspension ring is wrong and the punze also.

-The pouch is bad, not the right material, not the right printing and not even the right font, there are also much better ones out there.
A funny fact is, they even made an typo on it hahah.. put on this pouch they cleverly scracthed the typo away on the reverse

I knew pretty well that the packet was no good but i am surprised about the medal its self...damn....I have another ost front medal the marking on the ring looks like a T or flathead nail any ideas on this one?,I can post a picture if you want..

Sure post it, I always like to "talk" Ostmedaille.
It sounds a little like a OM1 / Deschler to me.

Also if you could post a obverse pic of the Medaille shown below would be great.
