1 OKT Medal with L/11 spange

    Hello,
I picked this up at the SoS and just now getting around to posting. I bought it on my last minute run through of the show on Saturday and it wasn't until days later that I got to look it over in detail. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Prague bar is stamped L/11. I found a couple of samples on the forum and I believe this one is original but wanted to run it by the folks here to see what they think. It was hard to photograph the marking but i did the best I could. I also couldn't get a good picture of the pins but they are the thin type found on the L/11 spanges and not the wider ones most often found.
    Thank you,
    Dale

Very nice mate, it has the classic Deumer narrow pins as well as the stamp of course.

Thanks Ian, I'm very happy to have found this hidden gem. Though I try (and often fail) to collect only items made in Gablonz, I'm still attracted to these spangen. As far as I know, none of these were ever made in Gablonz, though I have quite a few packeted 1 OKT medals from Gablonz makers. I suppose the order for the Prague spangen was much smaller and so they just didn't need makers from there, or some of the unmarked ones are actually from Gablonz, but who knows?
