    WWll RIBBON BAR

After reading about some “Ohio” fake ribbon bars on the Forum I looked at mine more closely and they look very similar. I have owned this bar for over 30 years. I am no expert on anything. So is my bar the same origin as the “ Ohio” fakes or an older fake?

Classic example of an "Ohio" fake.

    Kind regards,

I wanted to report this bar but it seems already withdrawn. Terribly one

Hopefully things like this won't catch people out as easily these days. That cheap, soft brass catch is a dead give-away every time without even seeing the rest.

Actually those are documented as being made with the crossed swords … meant for the button ribbons.

Here's one on a small bar … possibly tarted up, possibly at the time ?
