4-place medal bar with Memel

Hi Gents.

Recently got this medal bar in a small group. It's never been in a collection before.

None of the medals are marked.

Could I have some opinions on it please?

Unmarked Deumer EK2. Some paint chips missing from the core rubbing against the frame, therefore revealing an early copper plated core.

4 year service award with LW eagle.

Memelland......with a die flaw at the 10 o'clock area on the reverse.

Memel is the rare double acorn Meybauer.

No expert but I agree: a very nice medal bar! The Luftwaffe eagle used on your 4 year Dienstauszeichen is the smaller size version normally used on ribbon bars (the medal bar version is larger) but still credible. They used what they had

in general are collectors avoiding wire catches, that is why I made such comment. If you collect medal bars, you aware of this problematic

Are they somewhat a grey area? They might not be wartime at all?

Very nice medal bar , excellent piece. The Czech medal is also a Meybauer imo.
Sorry cant help much on the wire set up.
