Now I have an additional question.

- Is this official award type?

and

- In the case of Medaille 01.Okt.1938 ribbon, did the Soldat attach to the Combat tunic?
Like a second-grade iron cross (not Feldspange)

medal is official award of course. RIbbon looks as a ribbon bar one.

If you mean worn through the buttonhole like the EK2, I believe so, yes. Should be able to find plenty of period photos.

(From doing a search, it appears that practice was supposed to be limited to Wartime decorations; so if this was "official" for the flower war medals or not I'm not sure - someone else will have to answer that - but I'm pretty certain I've seen the Oct. 1 worn that way.)
