Fj helmet. Opinions, please!

Hello gents!
I'm posting this helmet for a friend of mine, who is the owner and would like to have some opinions about it. He bought it in the '90s.
What I can say, and this is clearly visible from some pics, is that the shell has overpainted externally by some kind of lacquer that made it shiny

I was also very suspicious toward the liner and the chinstrap, but I hoped for my friend that at least the decal could be ok

My Two Cents...

The decal is what gave it away for me. I have lots of experience with Luftwaffe helmets in general, so the fake eagle decal immediately put the whole helmet into doubt in my mind.

The chinstraps and the crown padding gave me pause, but that leather liner - complete with correct markings, wear, and age - could have fooled me!
