    WH Fallschirmjaeger Badge

HI guys. Just wanted to hear your oppinions about this badge. I know the photos are poor, but maybe even in them you can spot something that would make further investigations not worth the effort.

    Hi,

What do you mean by WH Fallschirmjäger Badge ?

Heer Fallschirmjäger Badge is more appropriate.
By 1935, the Wehrmacht (all german forces including the Heer or Army) did replace the Reichswehr as Heer did replace Reichsheer.

Many people are using Wehrmacht for Army which is not the case.

    Regards,

    JYN

      Hi JYN
I always thought that the WH stands for Wehrmacht Heer. Isn't it?

Collectors are using it for the Army (Heer) but in fact the Wehrmacht is the ensemble of the German forces of defense which is including Heer, Kriegsmarine & Luftwaffe.

In German this badge is named Fallschirmschützen-Abzeichen (Heer).

        Regards,

        JYN
