I agree; from the photos, the liner looks bad, the straps look bad, and the pads look bad....

Hi Heinrich, you are right to doubt this helmet. I agree with Johns comments. The liner stitching is very poor.

Another one......

Yet another rare size 71 FJ helmet. The liner, straps and pads, as John mentioned, are not original. They have the "Czech look". I certainly don't like the painted red cross. Once handled this helmet would probably exhibit other Czech repro features. Some nice aging to the shell, but the rear flange is a "concern". All the features of the Czech repros are present. Someone is doing some nice work over there in Europe and I assume, as usual, this helmet will sell to some poor unfortunate.
