Sturmregiment @ Sevastopol

Have any Sturmregiment book worms heard of the aforementioned Rgt being used at Sevastopol. I was told briefly about it by a Kreta veteran who told me he was wounded during the operation. Nothing else specific was mentioned. I have never heard of Fj involvement in this particular battle.

Hello Greg.
I have no information that FJ was much close to Sevastopol.
But one battalion (IV. / ST.RGT) was at the Mius-Front/Krim November 1941 - March 1942 (Crimea).

My vet contact was with Sturmregiment Stabskompanie on Kreta and I assume that he stayed there, perhaps not. I will have to ask for somemore info when I speak to him next. He was surprised that I had not heard of the operation beforehand.
