Hello, Gentlemen
Since the members of this forum are very knowledgeable in authentecy of awards, I though I'd ask one of my simple re-enactor historical acuraccy questions. I noticed one of our unit members wearinng the Panzerkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe award and noticed no one seemed to mind. But I knew from the before I even began to re-eanct that this award was extremely rare..And even if it was possible to be awarded the chances of the individual to have the actual badge was nill. Of course I did the political thing and said nothing. I doubt the individual in question has any idea towards the awards historical backround and most likely seen it availble and bought it for $15...
My guess is there's probably 1,000x more re-productions made than actual authentic ones. I guess I want to verify this fact with you guys...
After all we are just re-enacting and it is not as serious a matter as collecting actual pieces...
Thanks
