I recently picked this up indirect from a UK vet. It's a standard knife, Solingen, what makes it more interesting is on one side of the handle there has been made with what looks like a large pin
FJR 3 with a swastika below and then kreta below that. On the other side crudely marked is Gnr F. Webb R.A. Krete and on the other end it has the beginings of and eagle marked. This came from a collector friend who bought it from the vets family sometime ago and all the information he had was the vet had been with the 15th Coastal Regiment, Royal Artillery.
I will see if there is any grounds for reasearch on Gunner Webb. Tim.
