Frontflugspange für Transportflieger worn by FJ?

Hello everybody ,
Following my post on the ccc, I asked myself the following question:
Wearing the Frontflugspange für Transportflieger as A. Uhlig. was this current or exceptional?
as i will not be able to put my ccc on my fj normandie, maybe a Frontflugspange für Transportflieger could replace it?

There were some soldiers who wore this, but not many!

If you qualified for it, and then later transferred into the paratroops, you could wear it. Late in the war, when the aviation fuel began to run out, there was not a need for so many men in the flying units, and quite a few transitioned to the paratroops, so there were likely a few who wore this Spange. I have never seen it in a period photo though.

I agree, specially late in the war many specialists from the flying personnel (not only ground service airmen) were drafted in the paratroops. I know for sure about one aircrew badge that was ground found on the battlefield of the Gothic line where the FJD4 fought. So also the wear of a Spange was possible, although rather rare!
