glider reference book

my friend has a book which provides details of the gliders DFS230 and 331, is this a war time issue book and any other information on the book if known would be appreciated. thanks graeme

Your friend's book was published in 1974 in Nuremberg.

The publisher Karl Pawlas had amassed a huge archive of documents on weapons, tanks, artillery etc. and between 1971 and 2001 published a lot of these in a magazine called "Waffen-Revue", altogether more than 120 issues, which are highly informative. He also published the "Luftfahrt-Dokumente" magazine, which covered airforces.
