    CCC during normandy fights

    Hello everybody,
for my future project, I ask myself this question!
Was it possible to see FJ NCO wearing the CCC badge during the Normandy fights?
    Thanks

        i'd say NO
1, FJ with CCC is very rare to see or in a grouping,
2, FJ need a long time term to verify their soldiers,
3, i think there must have CCC for Normandy, but it is hard to see they are wearing CCC in Normandy battle, maybe for former battles.

              Hello,
yes, after Normandy veterans of fjr6 had the CCC.
but could an FJ have had it in africa or italy and carried it during the normandie fights?
my question is just to know if i let my ccc on my flieger for my future FJ Normandy.
just to be precise with the details!

Seems entirely possible. Veterans of Earlier campaigns there may have had them.
Didn't Alexander Uhlig wear one in Normandy ?( no, it's flying clasp - edit)
                Cheers

I say no as well. It took time to earn the required combat days, and time to be awarded the clasp. Likely to have earned many days during the Normandy campaign, but that was not the question.

having ccc days and having ccc clasp are different thing,
are they quanlified with 15 days? Normandy is not long time battle, so ccc days is even short period.
i have SB of SS Pz.Gren.Rgt.25, you know, it fought from very early time in Normandy (June.6), but ccc days is still not enough,
his ccc clasp is awarded with 3 days from Russland + 12 days from Normandy, and awarded in Jan.1945. you judge.

On Toms first CCC books front cover there is a picture of a FJ with CCC awarded in 1944

                        Ok ! Thanks men,
well not CCC on my flieger for my future normandy FJ!
pity! the close combat clasp is one of my favorite with the FJ badge!
but I try to be precise in the reconstruction.

When in 1944? By the fall of 1944 the paperwork was more likely to be up to date.

Career FJ, or transferred in? These questions are not simple.
