I've seen bunches of photos of continental

and tropical mixed in late war Italy. Last display I did, there were two real live German paras present. One poo-poo'ed my olive Army tunic with Luft tropi eagle on it (I believe he was captured in Tunisia). The other said they wore them and produced a wartime photo of his brother wearing such a tunic. My Army tunic is RB Nr'd with a tan Luft tropi eagle with the swaz across the pocket line. Sewn identical to another I have cut from a tan tunic. The tunic came out of a collection from the 60's and has a stink that won't come out. I'll try to locate a photo.

Hi Frank, I thought that this might be of interest to you? This tunic in my collection. It is a later war Heer tropical tunic with unpleated pockets. It is depot / date stamped "B43" and it has NEVER had Heer insignia on it. The Luftwaffe eagle is machine sown, tress is Luftwaffe pattern, shoulder straps and eagle are from the Continental uniform. It is very well used and faded. One of the things that I like about it, is to turn back the rear back seam to reveal the original olive colour of the jacket. Size is very small, with size markings: 39 00
        84
        67 69.
This is the only photo that I have of it.
        Cheers, Ade.
