It's artificially aged - does not look pre 1945 - if post 1945 (because of the Hakenkreuz) it would not be anything approved by the BDF (veterans association)

BTW:

"Gothic script “Unter Uns Kreta” (“Among Us on Crete” or, more correctly for translation, “Together on Crete”).

Incorrect translation - it means "below us Crete"
