    FJR6 drop container in photo

    Hello,

    Found that nice US photo taken at Saint Côme du Mont (North of Carentan) with very gorgious drop containers and other FJ stuffs...

    Great photo David. I have been there a couple of times. Surprised to see the helmet still laying there, and interesting some US items in the mix.

        Yes, very interesting. What a pity we don't see more the insigna on container ! Look also the numerous gasmak boxes...

          Maybe the helmet was in too bad condition in USA you love mint items

                  Yes. Another one in great condition is in a private collection also in Normandy. It is pictured in a book, but don't remember which one ?

                      Very nice Photo! Today i pulled out a FJR 6 green/yellow camo gas mask container with a gm38 gas mask (same like in the hands of the US soldier) with Feldpost reference out of the Vet's family. Will post pics of it soon in this forum.
