And what I really like on these helmets it's yellow underneath thick sand camo..the wing of the bird is well visible..

        Wonderful Sergey! Congratulations!

Know of several like this, yellow with khaki and sand on top.

Thanks John ! I remember that you mentioned about this specific camo, very interesting info about fjs when they used this camo job after long service in Africa 👍

Nice to see this. I believe it is the one I use to own many many...many moons ago. The liner was severely worn out. If it isn't, there is a twin of this one out there! Definitely saw a lot of action! Hate to let go if it...

Amazing to see how many actual Ramcke Brigade helmets have survived the years. A lot more than I could have guessed. THanks for posting these!

Very interesting helmet. Can anyone tell how they applied the sand and made it stick to the helmet like that? Did they use a mixture of paint of some sort?

Very nice Sergey. It looked camo'd up enough already with the yellow, interesting that sand was added, presumably at a much later stage.

                        Thanks gents
As for applying of the sand I think it's mixture of sand with some sort of paint or glue.
I also found some interesting details of the scratched paint areas where is well visible that it made by something painted in DAK yellow, may some hits by another helmet or equipment who knows ...small but very important details
