To be clear, not saying the decal is bad, just saying it does not appear original to the shell. Seeing no evidence of lacquer and not comfortable with the condition of the decal relative to the helmet.

Agree with John and also in my opinion shell has some troubles, at least paint not original but probaly itself is repro. In this case I would like see lot number.

No offense, but the picture of the decal close-up is terrible. The devil is in the details and if you want a proper evaluation of a decal, you need to provide a clear and appropriate close-up taken straight on and not at an angle.

Strongly agree, better photos with better lighting are needed and straight on as Walter states. Hoping you will post them. And Sergey is spot on about the paint.

I have taken a look using my big home computer screen (as opposed to my cell phone or Ipad). Even though the close-up picture is poor, I agree with John in that the decal is fake. No doubt in my mind. Focusing on the eagle's left claw is enough to be able to determine that it is a reproduction.
