Ill try to translate a bit..

The helmet was found in the beginning of the 80's in Norway.. When it was found it was whitewash (whatever that mean, maybe a smooth camo)..

Linear is marked: Baumuster. Heisler, Berlin C2 Hersteller: Schuberth Werk , Braunschweig. Kopfgrösse 58 Stahlhelmgrösse 68.

        Name written inside is Steiner.

The helmet is a SD M/38. marked. ET 68 4887.

The helmet is as it was found..

The price in Euro is around 3437

The price in dollar would be around 4925

If you want more photos you can mail him at copbi.skotte@telia.com

        The auction ends March 22

I hope this help out a bit..

Without seeing other photos I think that both are fine and rare helmets. Could you get your hands on more photos?

            With all the best,

That helmet is not black. It's a shade of green as it should be. Shell itself looks okay. Chinstrap section shown seems far to "new" to go with the exterior of the helmet. Price is "WOW" - over $5,000 USD at today's conversion rate.
