IMO Francis is correct, the decals are fakes. They have been artificially aged to conceal that they are reproductions. In addition, the color of the paint is wrong.Esse Quam VideriComment

Both decals are of post war construction.
Authentic decals that would have genuine wear similar to this would display a very different signature.

Apple green???
Hi jager here, IS this helmet early apple green? with a semi gloss finish? There are so many differant variations of apple green? Am I correct to assume that early apple green was a shhade of field gray/ green. and later apple green was a darker green.. I need som e help with this for my helmet paintings, and I like this color, more as opposed to the pea green.. Any experst out ther please let me know.
