    My SOS find...late model FJ-boots...

    Dear all,

Sometimes the Europeans have all the luck....that's at least how I felt when I picked-up these at the SOS!

The price was so good that I do not dare to mention it to you all.....Some of you might have heard the story aleady....according to the vendor did they came directly from the vet who brought them home in '45... I think they are really nice reddish-/brown ones, not re-soled nor repaired....

    They are stamped: "3 9381 30: 5 216: 45 "

    Anyhow, hereby the self-explanatory pictures.....enjoy

    Best regards,

    Coco

So, you are the one! Nice find Cocco! Great boots. Congrats. Great price! I heard about them being sold on Weds evening. A friend of mine was only seconds behind you. He called me on my cell as I was getting off the plane to tell me the story. This guy also had a cloth Heer FJ badge from the same vet.

                    Hi,
We talked at the airport just before leaving for Europe with one of your friends. You are definetely the best hunter of the season.
See you next year at the SOS and cross the fingers to do the same but this time with the jump smock.

....Great!!! Coco, but I still don't understand why you passed on the parahelmet with cover....because of the condition of the liner???....but for the same few $$$ as the boots....typical Dutch

                      Pieter.

Ps :at least the boots and helmet are on the same continent.....
