2. Or, meaning you've already seen this one and pursued it and the seller is a scammer.
3. Or it's a bad helmet.
I told the seller I have cash and I'll buy it, but, only in person.
His address was actually a couple of miles away.
We'll see if he replies.

I think it will turn out to be a fake. The rusty liner band and incorrect shape of what is trying to be a late flared rim shell are concerns. Same goes for the chinstrap snap and the general appearance of the straps. Photos are only good enough to be tempting, without being very clear.
Would need to see more.Willi

Englad has been spectacular with regard to viewing private collections so far, but, buying-wise, there are some incredible fakes.
*And you have to walk a lot more for your discoveries here, lol.
Any of you British collectors seen the three FJ badges Stephen Wheeler has in his shop, off Charing Cross road. Two zinc Assman and one unmarked - ?

I agree, based on the pictures, I think that the helmet has a good chance of being authentic. When you go home

Ha - yes, when i said I was actually located in London on a job the conversation went dead.
I checked my original email and my signature gives Los Angeles as my location - so a stolen pic, where they ask you to wire money i'm sure.
Thank you, anyway -
PS - I did do a Google image search on it to see if it was on the net - the search was unsuccessful - but, doesn't reach password protected sites like WAF.
