    Paratrooper Knife Assistance

Hello all, I have been offered a "paratrooper" knife and am a bit doubtful as to its authenticity. The knife has no markings at all apart from Solingen, and the, I think its a squirrel on the blade, which I believe is the Eickhorn logo, it also has a nickel silver insert by "Martin Morocutti" (thats what I`ve been told!) for engraving your name or whatever, in the wooden handle. I`ve checked previous posts on knifes and have come across no mentions of any inserts for engraving, also a previous post has mentioned that all authentic knives should be proof marked, I can find nothing. I can supply scans if anyone wants to see.

    Many thanks
    Ian

    A most baffling item. . .

If you can't post pics, send them to me and I'll post them for you.
