      Hello,

I must said that with the last your photos the mark is much better clear and for me this mark have no problem now and I must correct my opinion about the metal: no aluminum trace are into (the colour is typical zinc) but not the right colour of a GWL para zinc. correct beads come out from the metal of reverse.
The cacth is correct, but I have again many doubts because the eagle's beak, wings and hinge are too differents and very important.
      I would pass again out.

The new pictures have changed nothing in my mind. It still very clearly looks like a reproduction. Even my minty GWL has wear on the brass eagle where the gilt is only worn off on the highlights. Same goes for the finish on the zinc wreath. Even without considering that the pin, hinge, clasp and stamp all have problems. For 300lbs, I would most certainly pass.....
