    I would love to know for sure, Jan. To me this is one of the most interesting smocks posted on here for ages. I am surprised how little comment it is generating .

        Hi,
        Ive shown the smock to a seamstress and her opinion is that the zips have never been changed and have been on it from day one.
        will take some better photos over the weekend.

          Here´s a splinter smock from Brandenburg Kleiderfabrik, from the same period, and it clearly shows a pretty close match on both thread, stichline size and appearence, so I´m now pretty convinced that they are original to the smock too. best Jan
