    Camo Parachute "Dreieckkappe"

    Hello,

This parachute appears to be intact, but is not marked for others I've seen or owned. It appears to be marked for paratrooper use from several airframes, but appears to have panels sewn at irregular angles - all panels are not symmetrical.

No history; it was advertised as a US cargo chute from the 1950's. I believe it's for WWII German paratroopers - what is it?

Thanks for the help - Robert

Thanks Clint. Did the parachute bag have different designation markings, or was the RZ36 parachute bag different in design?

Yes, everything from the RZ36 is specific . The Rz36 deployment bag is specific in the way
that he is independent from the harness : they are not sewn together.

That is indeed very strange. And interesting. Does it have the Fallschirm Prüfschein with it?

                  Robert,
is the white raise line present ?
if yes , let us see both ends please :
one with the hook , the other to the bag.

Willi, there is no book, and no other bag - just the backpack unit with harness. Clint, I'm not sure what the raise line is. There are two bundled ends with hooks which look like risers on a U.S. parachute, and they both have hooks on the end.

that is correct , Robert : two hooks with shroud lines for the chute ,
but you need one to open the bag when falling out the plane .
