    Display FG42

Collector's Armory brought in an additional 38 copies of the Shoei FG42 first model this year. They make excellent display weapons and really add to a late-war FJ impression. Here are a few shots of the FG42 that I just got in thanks to a fellow forum member.

A shot of the maker's mark on it. The gun takes down to about 90 parts.

How much are they? I saw one last year at a gun show and it had a rather high price on it. I agree they would look great with a display. I once saw the original FG-42 George Petersen had with a serial number in three digits. I believe it was around 995.

Robbie, retail on them is almost $1600. Through a member of the forum, I got it at dealer pricing which was less than four digits.

Jack, I remember dealer's cost when the first batch came out. Are these about the same?

              Here is a 1st and 2nd model.

Super looking guns! Somebody is a lucky man!

I am not sure of what dealer cost was on the first batch of these that came in. So, I really can't say how the prices compare to the first batch.

Paul C of FJ Stab Ko. told me you have a second model Shoei that was adapted to fire blanks with a pistol. Would you mind showing it?

Jack I saw a FJ42 that fired blanks from a pistol. A Russian reenactor was using it.
