Wehrmacht trainee motorcyclists with DKW 100's, and all of them have paratrooper bandoliers, any ideas ??

Interesting photo Lennard.

An idea that makes sense as it would be more comfortable than belt, pouches, and y-straps, but have not seen that before.

Hi,

Very likely, could be easier to use than the more standard leather pouches on the belt.

They also appear to have cloth helmet covers, very much like the W-SS pattern, but.........?

My eyes need a bit of magnifying. Curious, I woul expect them to have a rifle if carrying those bandoliers... but can't see any.
