Looking at the pictures John posted it's definately not a "one looker" to my eyes. That to me is a must when I consider a chickenwired helmet.

If that was all I would have to go on I would have to say I would echo John H. comments.

Even with these photos being what they are, I sure do see some correct wear/age patterns on the wire. I agree that a wire it very tough to tell from photos alone, especially a FJ chicken wire where the wire just gets bent under the rim. Honestly, I see lots to like on the wire. I bet a handons would tell em alot more...and good things.

Does anyone have a close up picture of the top of this helmet? Does anyone have a pic of this helmet before it was cleaned? It is never a good idea to clean behind chicken wire.
