      Hi, Everybody

I agree with john. I look for a splinter camo jump smock in good condition, and my question is : If i have a budget of 5000 USD, is somebody of you able to sell me a jump-smock TODAY, for this price ???????? I think this smock is a little expensive but it's an authentic piece and for someone who want to start a FJ mannequin, Why not.

      Thanks, David.

I´m sure you must spend some more cash for a splinter in good condition...and your chance to find one (with a fair price and on our side of the pond) for sale is like a jackpot in a lottery.

All the older para collectors (and I´m a newbee on the equipment field) make me feel very jealous.
Should have started on that field decades ago and not spend my time/money on all the other things before............

Newbees in para related items should have a rich wife, a very good job, be a popstars or have a 99 year old grandma with some cash on the bank account.

No way to get a good and large collection on todays market without some cash in the money pocket.

Some members here are on the sunny side of the para collectors world.
The did right to start decades ago........

The word that comes to my mind is "foolish," not "lucky." Ebay is really the wrong place to buy a smock. I think this is a symptom of "virtual collecting," people looking to put an entire collection together from online sources and auctions. For this money ($5700) or close to it, you could get more at a major American show like the SOS.
