Another little FJ group, and yes, with boots again and a little extra.

Acquired this group directly from the veterans (Oberjäger) son. I really don't want to p*ss anybody of here by showing of all these latest finds. Just want to show people that the stuff really still is out there to be found.
Interesting is that the soles are held together with these brass/steel clamps, something I have, until now, only seen on Heer boots. The first aid pack was found in the gasmask bag. I'm specially pleased with the bag as this is the first time I have acquired one in this manner. Enjoy.

Ben, what's up with you and boots?

Glad you got the items. It looks like the boots are dated 1945. Could we see a bottom view of the boots? I would like to see more of the clamps.

The bag is also very nice, a good maker too. Nice brass Prym snaps too.

                Hi Willi,

The boots are 43 dated, it's the flash causing that.
I don't know for sure if the clamps where wartime attached but I pressume so.
The "other thing" on the soles is there too.
I'm expecting yet another pair of boots soon. They are turning into an addiction.
The nickle/silver wash finish on the Prym snaps on the bag is worn.

Ben, how do you do it ??
Another fantastic score, especially the bag. If you ever want to sell a pair of boots give me a call.

                  Regards,
                  Steve

Nice to see the late-war gas mask carrying bag all the time. The pair of jump boots also look great. Ben, how about the interial view of the bag? If possible, please show us the pics of the soles & heels of the boots.

                    Regards,

                    Joseph

                      It's a nasty habbit you're developing...
Quit now while you can (and send them to me....)

                      Super items once again!! Congratulations!!

                      All the best

Fantastic boots Ben. Joseph, I don't think the bag is late, not with those large brass snaps, not made from that fine canvas. It's early.

                          Sorry guys.

Joe, I have made a few pictures for you. I'm unwilling to go in much greater detail out in the open. I know you'll understand.
Unfortunaly I hardly ever see original bags over here, early or late war.

Thanks, John. Nice view points. All the " bwz " MM bag I've ever seen are late-war ones. Comparing these features you've mentioned, I'm fully understand. Or is it possible could be a mid-war bag?

Ben, thanks for these nice pics. Though these boots have been resoled & reheeled, I still like them. Anyway, congratulation!
