    Kreta Cufftitles.

Let's have a thread showing original Kreta cufftitles. I'll start by showing one I just picked up yesterday at a show. I like it because it was removed from a uniform. Most are not encountered like that. Since a Kreta original to uniform is about one of the rarest thing to encounter, I think these make for a great display if pinned to a tunic sleeve.

Let's just see known originals. If you have one that you want an opinion on, please start a thread on that one, and many of us will gladly help by offering opinions.

    Hi Willy,

Here is mine, also came off a uniform. A worn example that is a little dirty but I would never try to clean it.

And here is the part I like the best. The left side was never exposed to the outside and has a very clean white color, the right side was sewn over it and shows much more wear.

          Worn Kreta Cufftitle

          Hello,

Here is one that is obtained directly from the veteran ( a glider pilot ) who had his piece removed from his uniform.

The piece is in a worn condition but however in a near pristine condition, the threads where the Cuff. was sewn on are still present.

It is still sewn togheter and it is one of my beloved ones in the collection

          Cordial greetings,

Reverse. This cuff title is still sewn as if it came off a tunic.

Here the two different styles I have in my collection.

Top the RB-marked version, below without a mark. Both are cut off.

Great cufftitles guys! I think the worn ones have so much character.

Here is mine, not worn , not from a Fallschirmjäger - but belonging to a Knights Cross winner, I got it from the family.

Here's mine, with the award document. They actually don't "belong" together, but they make such a nice pair, I've put them together.
