    A good honest example. I'm not so sure that bolt above the eagle is a real one though......it looks like some of the repros out there. The other 3 look fine and everything else is correct. Nice example of a well used M38, I can see why you are happy!

                  Where did we end up with this bolt? The only steel one on the helmet. Fake?

                  I have yet to see a fake like this, but that certainly doesn't mean they haven't made nice fakes.

                                Beautiful helmet. Congrats Kris.

                                Be careful with the stand you are using so that the liner doesn't tear more.

                                Last year I bought a FJ helmet and I couldn't find a stand I liked. In the end I made my own. With this stand the side if the liner rest on the stand and not the middle.

                                I made some more and I only have three left. If you interested have a look here
