    Cloth Jump Badges 2

Since Gerd kindly showed us some excellent reproductions I thought I would begin a separate thread to post some authentic cloth badges. This way, by opening both threads in different windows, direct comparisons can be made. Here is a nice original badge.

Here is the back which doesn't help if that is the only way you know to determine a good badge, it's padded.

To post authentic fj cloth badges is a good idea.

Here a couple of mine (first 2 new purchases)

Gerd, your badge in post 10. is exactly the same style as mine in post.3. And of course your first badge is like Brian's. Here is the rear of another good one.

Nice! John I've been after a padded example like your first one forever. I have a collection of padded aircrew badges by that same maker. Shea had one for sale several years ago but wanted an arm and a leg....

Here is one that came out of a local Estate sale a few years ago. It is "scooped out" or vaulted to give the appearance of it being padded when sewn to the tunic.
