Got this nice eagle today it looks ok to me ,comes from a old collection.

reverse;is it still attached to the smock or were they backed that way.

Yes, a very nice eagle! Looks like it was sewn to a splinter smock, then cut out, and then trimmed closely. Thanks for sharing it with us.
