Thanks Seba. These were in a bag held under a table. A friend of mine picked them up directly from the US veteran. The veteran said he had some boots from those guys "who wore those funny helmets". He sold them to my friend who wanted me to authenticate them for him.

A rather large pair of '44 dated untouched boots. Everything is textbook on them. They had been stored badly over the years so they are pretty dry. He is going to clean them up alittle, and perhaps put something on the leather. We were trying to decide what the best solution is.
