Luftwaffe officers insignia isn't my thing, but I was asked to look at this.

Any thoughts? Don't remember ever seeing one like this myself.

Weren't there some controversial cuff titles w/ backing paper like that posted a while back?

The paper was obviously added by some shmarty to lend authenticity
to a highly questionable (read;fake) piece when all it does is increase
doubt. A worn-out trick from the '70's.
