North Afrika campaign perhaps, paint seems to have a pinkish hue to it ????

i have a same container from Maleme area. It is not a drop container but a storage one. i think that it is to store the parachute harnesses. i have seen it on auctions for about 200-250 euros

Well here it is in all its glory ! Arrived from Deutschland this week
Very happy with it, all I need now is a Fallshirm to go in it !

Yes, you were right, its a nice Ordnance tan colour, not DAK tan at all
