Thoughts on Luft. 43 hat

I'm going to part with this Luft. hat on E- Stand, and was wondering what was fair price. Hat was bought from a Maryland State trooper who had found it sometime ago. The stains on top of hat where tested by him and they are blood stains, that is the only damage to hat, Brim is soft and moveable.

I think the cap is a field made version, This will be a factor in the price. Can you please post better/closer photos of the insignia ?

Any history on the cap itself? insignia look fine, hand applied to the cap as one would expect. What price range are you thinking about?
